Ma'am, Is that your line in the sand?

Dear Friends,

Please check the major news networks.

Oklahoma National Guard are in Louisiana, going door to door in wealthy and unflooded neighborhoods as well as in poor and flooded parts of town. They are detaining home owners and seizing guns.

There are soldiers going door to door seizing guns, now, today, in the United States.

At a minimum, you should now expect armed gangs to loot wealthy homes now disarmed.

If that was your line in the sand, perhaps you have choices to consider.

This is the thing that, when Clinton was President, we were told would never happen.

A Republican is in office. Draw own conclusions.

Re: Ditto

I didn't see it pre-editing, but as we're on some of the same lists, I think I may know what you're talking about, and here is an article about it:

Re: Ditto

But clicking through to polyanarch's page, I see that's well-known already.

Yeah, but Bush is not the Libertarian type of Republican. He's the "God has all the answers and we'll force them down your throat" type. That includes all of your rights. If you don't give up your gun, he'll declare you an enemy combatant and (as a court decided again today) will be able to have you detained indefinitely without charging you with anything at all.

Wow, this and infinite detention of citizens without charges or council on the same day.

1, 2, 5, 8, 9, 10. And seperation of powers, which I can't remember which one where.

That's a lot of amendments. But two in one day, that's got to be a record.
